![]() ![]() I for anyone who is interested in mysteries of Universe. Player can change time of day, rotation of earth, orbit of earth, tilt of earth. Player control the forces acting on the objects in product. Player can control the movement of player and movement of camera. Program includes a sandboxed galaxy, a solar system, a range of objects to include planets, stars, galaxies, a visualizer. The user can create any star, planet, moon, or galaxy and then watch them evolve. It’s a 3D space simulator that provides a multitude of real physics and astrophysics to create a self-consistent galaxy. It was originally called Universe Sandbox free download, but name was changed to Universe Sandbox unblocked a few years ago to avoid a trademark issue. On the eclipses, Ge has to be a lot further away from Aether for it to see the red ring, though you will get some redness around where the setting suns touch the disk of Aether.Universe Sandbox Windows is a sandbox game that allows players to create and manipulate a simulated universe. Note: both gas giants have to be scaled up to at least Jupiter mass, as the orbits of the moons are too tight, you want your moons at least 500000 kms away from the giants, and you want short enough days (long days are a problem, long periods of darkness make for inefficient plants, which have to stock up every day for the long night) these include Ouranos & Pontos and one of the trojans you cant fit both gas giants in the habitable zone with those guys. Summary: use A cen B to hold the planets that can't fit in. If you want to keep some outer planets habitable, you can have high methane content in the atmosphere for a green house effect. You may want to consider adding some to A Cen b if you put it out by a few AU. The habitable zone is a bit unstable with the trojan planets, but it should be able to fit both the water, neptune, and a trojan moved into a regular orbit. Results: habitable zone goes from 1.1 AU to 2 AU, alpha centauri b has negligible effect on the habitablity of the outer system unless it is close enough to disturb the orbits of the planets. What does Aether's Solar eclipse look like? If my guess is right, it should turn Aether into a giant red glowing eye from Ge's perspective due to the black umbra and red penumbra. Are these planets actually in the habitable zone?ģ). The things I would be interested to see from a simulation Ģ). The trips would still be long without something like an EmDrive, but good enough for interesting hard sci-fi setting. My aim of maximising the number of habitable planets in a system was so I could produce a setting where lots of interplanetary travel could happen without the need for FTL engines. There's also a hefty inner planet designed to stop the planets from spiraling inwards on a long timescale. Proxima(1): A mega-earth with a surface area 6x Earth's but only 2.5x gravity. Outer edge(6): A warm Saturn with scaled up version of its rings and moons Middle(3): a large moon orbiting a warm neptune/helium planet, tailed and lead by trojan planets with strange rotations. ![]() Inner edge(2): a pair of binary planets, a carbon planet and a water planet, with a configuration mimicking a scaled up pluto. (I could fix more if I just shoved a bunch of warm Saturns in but I went for variety) This allowed me to fit 11 habitable planets in one system, 12 if you included the one orbiting the proxima centauri equivalent. ![]() The position of Alpha Centauri B is close enough to warm the outer habitable zone a bit, ensuring a planet on the outer edge wouldn't be cold and dead like Mars. This results in a much wider habitable zone stretching from ~1 AU to ~3 AU (ours goes from ~0.7AU to ~1.3AU). ![]() Though Chronos life span would end much more violently with a supernova. This allows a net luminosity 3.4x that of our sun, without the staggering drop in star lifespan that a single star of that luminosity would have allowing a 8 Gyrs lifespan vs. I started with Alpha Centauri, and combined Alpha Centuari A with Chi Draconis to make a Contact Binary. I came up with a star system with a focus on maximising the number of habitable planet it can contain. ![]()
